Sorry, that title was misleading…
Mike Tyson is entertainment. He isn’t just entertaining, he isn’t just an entertainer, he IS entertainment. Every second of this roast I was on pins and needles, waiting for Mike Tyson to A) say something amazing or B) hurt something. I didn’t even feel safe during commercial breaks. I don’t understand how the other comedians were able to make fun of him? Every time someone made a joke at Tyson’s expense, I started to cringe and silently pray for that persons physical safety. Thankfully, the only person injured by the hands of Mike Tyson that night was Steve-O, and that is because he ran straight into Mike’s fist. I wish people thought it was cool to get punched in the face by me, that is a level of respect and admiration that I will never know.
And with that, let’s go back to just listening to Mike Tyson speak, because I am pretty sure that every carefully crafted sentence that comes out of his mouth is funnier than anything I could ever write.
