MSNBC - Manohar Aich, Mr. Universe 1952, turned 100 years old this past weekend.
100 years is a long fucking time, and I imagine you have nowhere to go but down after you win Mr. Universe, so kickin’ it for another 60 years after you have hit your peak means you have to have a damn good attitude. The 4’11” bodybuilder says that the secret to a long life is not taking things too seriously… and how could you, when you are 4’11”?
We here at Two Scoops take things very seriously though, you have to in order to be a good meathead. We live demanding lives, creatine and Dbol take their toll, there are chickens to cook, pecs to blast, and babes to smash - some of us even have real jobs on top of all that. That is why I respect the hell out of this guy.
Manohar outlived Jack LaLanne, the man who “preached fitness before fitness was cool.” So I know what you are thinking, what supplements was this dude on?
Aich said the key to longevity, for him, has been a simple diet of milk, fruits and vegetables, along with rice, lentils, and fish, the Associated Press reported. He refuses alcohol and tobacco. Wait, wait, wait, wait… what?
Are you telling me this dude takes no crazy geezer steroids? No Alzeimers Anabolics? No post-humous post-workouts? Not even a fucking bottle of Ensure?! God damn it.
The asshole doesn’t even drink. What is the point of getting ripped if you don’t go to the bar, get hammered, and lift your shirt up to show off your six-pack to girls? Fucking Manohar, i’m liking this guy less and less. He is making us all look bad.
Well, at least we have something in common: He told the Associated Press that among his regrets in life, he never met our hero - Arnold Schwarzenegger.
“I like the incredible stunts he did in the movies,” Aich said.
Amen sister.

P.S. The guy was nicknamed “Pocket Hercules.” I tried, but I couldn’t think of a better backhanded compliment.
